It started in 2010, with the founder working solo to bring reliable, well-designed ventilation to homes across HRM, one bathroom fan and one ERV install at a time. There was no large team, no shop, just a commitment to doing the work right and building relationships one job at a time.

From there, the work grew. Small residential installs led to larger opportunities, and Good Air took on its first multi-unit and high-rise projects, delivering the same standard of workmanship at a completely different scale. As the commercial and multi-residential side of the business grew, we made a decision that changed how we operate: we established our own fabrication shop, Nova Scotia Sheet Metal (NSSM), to design and build ductwork and components in-house instead of relying on off-the-shelf parts. That capability means we're not limited by what a supplier has on hand. If a job calls for something custom, we design it and fabricate it ourselves.

Good Air was also one of the first Venmar AVS installers in Halifax. Over the years we've watched other installers open and close, but Good Air has stayed, not through size or marketing, but because customers who worked with us once tend to call us again, and tell their neighbours, developers, and property managers to do the same.

That growth isn't finished. From basic bathroom fans to full ventilation systems for high-rise towers, Good Air keeps expanding what we're capable of, and we're not slowing down.
